About

Embark on a 4-month virtual internship where you'll connect the physical and digital worlds through the Internet of Things (IoT). Dive into projects such as building sensor-based systems, programming microcontrollers, creating IoT dashboards, or transmitting data to the cloud using platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and MQTT. Gain hands-on experience in smart system development and real-time data integration.

Objectives

This project offers a practical approach to building IoT systems by connecting sensors, devices, and networks. Participants will learn to gather and transmit data, automate tasks, and create smart applications, building a foundation in hardware interfacing and communication protocols.

Learning Outcomes

Understand IoT fundamentals, architecture, and applications. Work with Arduino and ATMega328p for sensor and actuator integration. Implement I2C, SPI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and TCP/UDP protocols. Send sensor data to the cloud using HTTPS, APIs, and MQTT. Develop automation with IFTTT (Google Assistant & Telegram). Work with IoT platforms like ThingsBoard and Cumulocity. Build IoT applications using Node-RED. Complete a major IoT project to apply learned concepts.
